Ashok Tyagi is MECON CMD

Ashok Kumar Tyagi has taken charge as chairman & managing director (CMD) of MECON. Prior to this, he was serving as the company’s director (commercial).
Tyagi joined MECON on 22 May, 1978. He was posted to carry out engineering and project management of the integrated Steel plant in Nigeria and copper plant in Oman.
He holds a BE (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Maulana Azad College of Technology (now MANIT), Bhopal and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management from AIIMA.
