Arvind working for anti-India forces: BJP

Things have turned real bitter between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and India Against Corruption (IAC) leader Arvind Kejriwal. The editorial of the latest issue of the BJP mouthpiece Kamal Sandesh has stopped short of calling Kejriwal a ‘supari’ killer. ‘The Manmohan Singh government should find out as to who has given the ‘supari’ to Kejriwal,’ says the editorial piece of Kamal Sandesh.

The editorial while criticising Kejriwal for ruining the Anna andolan in pursuit of his naked ambition, alleges that Kejriwal is not a nationalist. ‘Team Kejirwal is involved in a conspiracy to create suspicion about democracy and by doing so it is definitely playing into the hands of those who have no attachment either to India or Bharat Mata,’ says the article.

Coming down hard on the IAC activist-turned politician, the BJP mouthpiece says that Kejriwal’s source of funding needs to be probed, whether the funds belong to India or to forces that want to weaken the country. Kejriwal, however, refuted the allegations levelled on him and said the BJP has been hit by the facts he has put out.

‘The BJP is nervous. They are completely rattled and baffled. I challenge the BJP. If they have the guts and courage, let them put out the list of all their donors for the last ten years on the website. So that the country knows which are those coal beneficiaries or various other industrial beneficiaries who got various contracts from the BJP in the BJP-ruled states’ said Kejriwal.

Apart from accusing Kejriwal of digging holes in democracy with the help of foreign funds, the editorial has also questioned the loyalty of Kejriwal towards the nation.’Who is Kejriwal? Don’t people know that he is the same person who has ditched Anna? By ditching Anna who nurtured him, Kejriwal has definitely reserved his name in the list of back stabbers. Does a back stabber enjoy the moral right to accuse others?’ the editorial asks.
