Army XI draw with AI in thrilling Beighton Cup tie

Army XI made a stunning comeback in the second-half, pumping in four goals to hold Air India 4-4 to keep their semifinal hopes alive in the 117th all-India Beighton Cup hockey on Wednesday. Air India, Indian Oil and PNB have already booked last four berths while Army XI will have to wait till Thursday for the outcome of the match between South Central Railway and Indian Overseas Bank in order to grab the fourth and final spot. In an inconsequential match, Hockey Bhopal got the better of RCF (Kapurthala) 5-3.
