Army man arrested for molesting woman in Ggn

A 21-year-old army man has been arrested on charges of molesting a woman working at a multinational company in Gurgaon, police said on Tuesday.
Anubhav Singh was arrested in Gujarat’s capital Gandhinagar on Monday night for molesting the 24-year-old woman from Bhiwani in Haryana, who works at a company in Gurgaon’s Sector 43.
‘Both started chatting on social networking websites almost a year ago and became friends,’ police officer Sanjeev Kumar said.
The woman said in her police complaint that Anubhav Singh came to Gurgaon 16 August, snatched her mobile phone and took away the memory chip. Since then, he has been forcing the woman to marry him. The soldier was on Tuesday presented before the magistrate Sachin Yadav and was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a metro station sweeper was nabbed on Tuesday for prying on a woman using the washroom.
Ravidass, 21, was arrested late on Monday night following the 24-year-old woman’s complaint. The woman from Delhi’s Nai Sarak, said the accused was watching her from under the door when she was using the washroom at the Huda City Centre metro station.
Ravidass hails from Baharampur in West Bengal and was living here in a rented accommodation in
Chakkarpur area of Gurgaon. He was arrested under Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code, and Tuesday granted bail after he was presented before a court.
