Another hit-and-run near IGI leaves DIAL official injured

In yet another incident of hit and run case near IGI airport, a security officials of DIAL on Friday suffered multiple injuries after a speeding Santro car, coming from wrong side hit his bike.
The car driver also ignored the traffic police official’s signal to stop and managed to escape.
According to the FIR, the victim Ravinder, a coordinator in DIAL’s security at Delhi airport was on his way to office when a speeding car coming from wrong side hit his bike. Though the victim fell down, he somehow managed to note down the car’s number. The traffic police official, who tried to stop the speeding car, immediately informed the local police about the incident.
The victim suffered multiple injuries in knee and hand and was rushed to the hospital for medical examination. ‘We received the call regarding accident and reached on the spot. The victim was already taken to hospital,’ said a police official. A case under relevant sections of IPC has been registered against the accused, he added. Last week, a CISF officer suffered severe injuries after he was hit by an unknown car near IGI airport.
