Ambanis reach Varanasi to celebrate Nita’s birthday

The city on Saturday got a high profile bash featuring Reliance honcho Mukesh Ambani and his family to celebrate the Golden jubilee birthday of his wife Nita. They will also participate in a special puja at Kashi Vishwanath temple.
Celebrities from Bollywood and sports world such as Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Sachin Tendulkar and many others are expected to attend the birthday party, which will be held at Gulab Bagh of Gateway Hotel Ganges. Although the people engaged in arrangements were tight-lipped on this issue, the guest-list is expected to be very small.
The preparations were in full swing at Nadesar Palace, which is a part of the hotel, where Ambanis and their guests will stay. Once the abode of the royalty of Banaras the Nadesar Palace flanked on the eastern side of the hotel has been decorated extensively for the event. A group of top officials of Ambani’s company already arrived here to manage the things. Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani along with the guests will arrive here by a chartered plane around 4 pm on Saturday. According to the people involved in arrangements, about 40 guests are arriving to take part in the birthday party.
They will go to Kashi Vishwanath Temple to perform Rudrabhishek with 101 liters of milk amidst the chanting of mantras by 31 Brahmins.
