The Former Take That star, whose career spans nearly three decades, is busy promoting his Swings Both Ways album and he feels more relaxed, reports mirror.co.uk.
‘I’m far more at ease with not being cool now. Swing is a different kind of cool. I am ready to be a family entertainer, I am not offended by that notion any more,’ he said.
‘Now I am 40, I don’t want to be cool anymore, I want to be successful, I want to keep this going as much as I can, health permitting,’ he added. The Feel singer turned 40 13 February.
But the singer has told how even at 40 he is still haunted by insecurities ahead of gigs and public appearances. And it always gives him a thrill when fans do show up.
