Alok Shekhar India’s representative to ICAO

Senior IAS officer Alok Shekhar has been named India’s representative in the council of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), a UN body. The Cabinet approved the appointment of Shekhar, a 1994 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre. He will be replacing Prashant Narain Sukul, a 1992 batch officer of Indian Defence Accounts Service.
