Alleged case of police ‘brutality’ captured on video

A video has surfaced depicting two policemen who allegedly had beaten and abused a person near a metro station. The video, titled ‘STRONG COP DELHI POLICE’, was shared by several persons on Facebook and Twitter accounts. However the time and place of this incident is yet to be ascertained.

The 57-second long video, in which a man was nabbed by two Delhi police officials deployed near to a metro station, was brutally kicked and punched. The identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained. But the policemen, who have been captured on the camera reportedly by a passer-by, are clearly violating the rules by beating the man in a public place.

The video clearly captures the one of the officers, in uniform, beating down the person with kicks and punches repeatedly. The victim opposed this act but the policemen abused him several time and punched him in the face and kicked him several times. The cop abused the victim more than 17 times repeatedly. The reason why the man was being beaten by the police is yet to be ascertained.
‘We have not seen the video and it would be very difficult to comment on this issue until or unless the area and time of the video could not be ascertain’, said Delhi police spokesperson.
