Allahabad Bank launches app for opening account

Allahabad Bank celebrating 151st year of service launched “Allbank Selfie Style” Android Application for opening of Instant Savings Bank Account. Chairman and Managing Director Rakesh Sethi launched the App for opening of savings bank account on the auspicious occasion of 67th Republic Day at head office Kolkata. Executive Directors J K Singh Kharb and N K  Sahoo and other executives / officials of the bank were also present on this occasion.

This free App, which is available on Google Play Store, is intended for furthering our efforts towards full financial inclusion. Using this App on any android phone, an SB account number can be obtained immediately, just clicking a selfie photo and PAN and / Adhaar Card. then the applicant can visit to any nearest branch within 14 days to collect the Welcome Kit and enjoy relationship with the bank. This offer makes Allahabad Bank one of the few public sector banks to provide such facility.
