All girl team wins engineering event

The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), a constituent college of GGS Indraprastha University, announced on Monday that their all-girl team had bagged the prestigious Chairman’s award of Rs. 1 Lakh at the BAJA- Asia 2013, an Annual All-Terrain Racing Event, that had been held between 13 to 17 February near Indore.
This year, the team was composed of fifteen students from the Mechanical & Automation Engineering department of IGIT. The team performed all the functions of an engineering teamand was was entirely self-funded.
