All 21 Haryana dists to have women police stations

The Haryana government has today announced that it will open Women Police Stations, one in each of the 21 districts of the State and would be inaugurated on the eve of ‘Rakshabandhan’ festival on Friday.

These police stations, which would be opened with a view to <g data-gr-id="13">ensure</g> <g data-gr-id="14">safety</g> of women and instill among them a sense of security and confidence, would be functional from Saturday on Rakshabandhan. CM Manohar Lal Khattar will inaugurate Women Police Station at Mansa Devi Complex, Panchkula.

Women Police Stations in other districts of the State would be inaugurated by Union Ministers, Cabinet Ministers of the state, Ministers of State and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries. Haryana’s Director General of Police, YP Singhal said with the opening of these stations women will be able to access a brand new statewide security system.
