'UP would be able to implement the Food Security Act only on receiving appropriate resources from the Congress-led UPA government at the centre,' Yadav said while taking to newspersons after attending the wedding ceremony of Samajwadi Party MLA Ram Singh Patel.
Congress had in many circumstances proved that it is miser, he said.
It was the state government that provided land for AIIMS in Rae Bareli, which happens to be the parliamentary constituency of Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi, but the Congress did not even invited us on the foundation laying ceremony, he said.
On being asked about fielding of candidate against Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli, Yadav said it was to be decided at party's national level and party was yet to make any decision in this matter.
He further said that the state government was committed towards the development of the state and would extend all possible help for advancement of Rae Bareli.
Meanwhile, Sonia Gandhi would lay foundation stone for the two new rail lines in her Rae Bareli constituency on 30 November. She would also inaugurate the FM radio station at her parliamentary constituency.
The 47-km long Rae Bareli-Akbarganj rail line would be established at a cost of Rs 265 crore, while the 69-km long Akbarganj-Faizabad rail line would cost around Rs 395 crore.
Union railway minister Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Vadra would also be present during the function.
