Ajay Devgn fights back for SoS

The tussle between the producers of Son of Sardaar and that of Jab Tak Hai Jaan refuses to cease. After the Competition Commission of India (CCI) turned down the appeal by Ajay Devgn Films (ADF), the producers on Wednesday issued a statement: ‘We are shocked by the rejection of our legitimate case by the CCI. We have approached the Appellate Tribunal against the order’.

The problem started when ADF filed a complaint with CCI, stating that Yash Raj Films (YRF) was using its dominant position in the industry to ask exhibitors to dedicate more screens to Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ) than Son of Sardaar. Actor-producer Ajay Devgn had claimed that YRF armtwisted exhibitors to dedicate more screens to JTHJ. CCI had rejected the complaint saying that the plea lacks merit. Looks like this will take quite some time to get resolved.
