Air India CMD Ashwani Lohani inspects Kolkata Engineering base

During his maiden visit to Kolkata, Air India Chairman and Managing Director Ashwani Lohani, visited the New Technical Area, the sprawling engineering complex and hangar of Air India <g data-gr-id="12">close</g> to the NSCBI airport. He went to all the engineering units including the Auxiliary Power Unit <g data-gr-id="11">(APU),</g> and took a close look at the various facilities and equipment.
He evinced keen interest on the actual work process being carried out there like aircraft engine <g data-gr-id="9">boroscopy</g>, testing of the engine fuel nozzle and integrated drive generator (IDG).
