AgustaWestland mishap, 2 killed

The AgustaWestland helicopter maker says two of its pilots were killed in an accident in northern Italy during a prototype test flight.

AgustaWestland said that both pilots died in the accident involving a AW609 tiltrotor prototype in the Piedmont region on Friday morning. A news agency quoted unidentified witnesses who said the plane exploded before crashing to the grouZnd in countryside near the city of Vercelli.
