Afghanistan delegation holds talks with Pak officials

An Afghan military delegation on Wednesday held a meeting with senior Pakistani military officials here on border security situation and other issues of mutual interest. The seven-member Afghan delegation led by Brigadier General Abdul Karimi visited Peshawar Corps Headquarters and met with the Pakistan military delegation led by Brigadier Aamir Ihsan, according to an ISPR statement. Matters related to Pak-Afghan border security situation were discussed during the meeting. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had led a high-level delegation to Afghanistan during his second visit to the country in May to address thorny issues of peace talks with the Taliban and increasing border security.
