Advani plays Hindutava and Ram Mandir cards for HP campaign

Senior BJP leader Lal Krishan Advani once again tried to bring back the Hindutava and Ram Mandir into the forefront in his Himachal poll campaign by saying that his party has pledged to construct the Ram Mandir at Ayodhaya.

‘Party got favourable order from High Court and I personally believe that now Supreme Court will also give necessary directions in this regard,’ said Advani. He also reiterated an old issue of the party regarding Jammu and Kashmir saying that one law-one flag should be adopted.

‘Pandit Dindayal Upadhaya had sacrificed his life for this sake and BJP has to take his dreams and vision ahead,’ said Advani addressing the gathering at Ramlila Maidan of Amb in Una district of the state.

He said that in the state, Congress has scaled new heights of corruption and challenged former steel minister Virbhadra Singh to go for an open debate with CM Prem Kumar Dhumal on Himachal interests.

‘Let Virbhadra Singh debate with Prem Kumar Dhumal on Himachal interests and let’s see who is telling the truth and have commitment for the development of the state,’ said Advani amid applause from people.

Crediting Dhumal for construction of roads and connecting villages even with sparse populations, Advani said if Dhumal made roads, then it was Shanta Kumar who brought portable drinking water to every households of the state.
