Accused who lured customers with cars and abducted arrested

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has solved a sensational case of kidnapping of a Gujarati man who fell prey to a lucrative offer of buying a car at a throwaway price in Palwal. 

The cops have arrested a notorious criminal Sajid , a resident of Mathura in UP in this regard.

Valji Bhai, a resident of Bhuj in Gujarat was lured to come to Delhi and was later called to Palwal by a man on telephone offering him a car at a very low price. 

The unsuspecting man came to Delhi on December 21. He met a person there who brought him to Palwal.

On reaching Palwal, he noticed that five or six persons were already present there on two bikes and on sensing danger, he refused to go further. He was forcefully taken to a secluded place. 

After that, they started beating him and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh from his son by making calls to him. The accused also took away Rs 20,000 and the mobile phone which the man was carrying.

Later, when they came  to know that the Crime Branch is after them, they left the man and ran away.

The cops who were after Sajid got secret information that he would come to Ashram Chowk. A team was deployed and the criminal was arrested. He carried an award of Rs 50,000 on him.
