ABVP’s no-food campaign against Kanhaiya backers

Adding more fuel to the ongoing row in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarti Parishad (ABVP) has launched a “No food, no shelter and no cleanliness campaign” on the campus against those supporting JNU president Kanhaiya Kumar.
According to hostel mess managers of across JNU campus, ABVP – a student wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has warned them that no food should be served to those participating in the agitation in support of JNU student union President Kanhaiya Kumar.
On Tuesday night, a group of students entered a hostel mess and asked all working there not to serve food to those supporting Kanhaiya Kumar,” a mess in-charge of Mahi hostel said. ABVP supporters have asked sweepers on the campus to halt all cleanliness work. “A group of students claiming to be ABVP backers, asked us to stop the cleanliness work on the campus. ABVP supporters have even asked the residents of Munirka Village not to give accommodation to those supporting the Left movement in the campus.
