ABVP releases poll manifesto

On Tuesday, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) released its manifesto. The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) is likely to release its manifesto by Wednesday or Thursday.

In its election manifesto, the ABVP has promised help for students who are facing problems due to anomalies in university’s Internal Assessment Scheme, safety for girls, improvement in infrastructure, better hostel facilities on the campus and aid to students who are from outside the city.

Rohit Chahal, ABVP state secretary said, ‘If we win, we will mount pressure to the make the campus crime-free.’
