ABVP bags top posts in CCS University elections in Meerut

BJP supported ABVP bagged coveted seats of president and vice-president in the student union election of CCS University Meerut while SP supported Samajwadi Kshatra Sabha manged two seats but Cong supported NSUI could not open its account. ‘The annual elections of students union of CCSU were held after a ban of six years in a peaceful manner as per the norms laid down by Lyngdoh Committee,’ said V K Goel, VC. ABVP candidate Sanjeev Kumar won the prez seat with a margin of 586 votes, Meenal Gautam of ABVP won Vice President. Ajay Kumar of SKS elected for General Secretary with a margin of 560 votes and Sachin Kumar of SKS elected for Joint Secretary with a margin of 778 votes. An independent candidate Nitin Kumar won the post of treasurer.
