Absconder held

A 50-year-old man, who was convicted in a 20-year-old murder case, was arrested in Delhi after he jumped bail last August, police said on Tuesday.
Jitender was apprehended near Laxmi Nagar metro station yesterday on a tip off. He had jumped bail and was absconding since 30 August 2013.
He was arrested in connection with the murder of a person, Surender, in July 1993. Jitender along with five others were convicted in 2002 but went on appeal and got bail. Accused Jitender alias Vikky was declared a proclaimed offender.
