AAP’s youth, women wings protest at Jantar Mantar

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) youth and women wings on Monday held a massive protest in front of Parliament at Jantar Mantar alleging inaction of the Narendra Modi government in the AgustaWestland Helicopter deal scam.

The cadres of the frontal organisation assembled in large numbers to warn the government that the connivance of Congress with BJP in this bribery episode is more than clear to the country. BJP is trying to shield some of the top persons in Congress and wasting time in Parliament with inaction.

“The nation is curious that there is only furor and no action in the AgustaWestland episode. No arrests and no charge-sheet. This is a typical case of the Congress and BJP’s hand-in-glove move to save each other. It seems there is an understanding between BJP and Congress to save their top leaders,” said Ankush Narang, AAP youth wing Delhi president.

BJP is not just involved in saving the skin of top Congress leaders but also in making the people of the country suffer by means of wasting precious time of Parliament. Congress and BJP are involved in shadow boxing in this incident to divert the attention of the country from other vital issues like drought and price rise, said AAP Youth Wing Spokesperson Vikas Yogi.

“The valuable time of the Parliament is being wasted in verbal clashes and government is taking no action against the allegations levelled against Congress politicians,” said AAP women’s wing head Bhavna Gaud.
