Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson Dilip Pandey, along with three other party workers were arrested by the police on Friday, for allegedly putting up posters against congress MLAs in the national capital.
Despite a resident of Okhla claiming to have put up the posters himself, police have arrested the AAP spokesperson and other workers. ‘The police have implicated Dilip Pandey in a false case despite Okhla residents saying that they had put up the posters,’ tweeted the Aam Aadmi Party. According to a source, Dilip Pandey has been booked under relevant provisions of the Property Defacement Act and he will be produced in the Saket court on Saturday.
Despite repeated attempts, no police official could be reached for comments.
