AAP to launch its student wing today

Aam Aadmi Party will launch its student wing — CYSS (Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti) on Saturday.

The CYSS will strive to dispel negativity associated with student politics in the country and its aim will be to channelise positive energy of the student towards nation building’, announced party leader Arvind Kejriwal.

It further said that CYSS was committed to oppose communalism in all its forms and ‘it will fight against politics of caste and creed.’

The CYSS is of the view that students’ organisations cannot continue to work as voting machines for their parent political parties.

The student wing of the party will be launched at a special programme held at Aiwan-e-Ghalib Auditorium (Ghalib Institute) in ITO on Friday.

AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal will be the chief guest at the function. Other senior party leaders such as Kumar Vishwas, Manish Sisodia, Gopal Rai, Sanjay Singh and Lok Sabha MP from Punjab Bhagwant Mann will also address the students from various universities and colleges of the
national capital.
