Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel has alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has struck a ‘secret deal’ with the Congress and will not probe corruption cases against the latter’s leaders. Goel also announced that the party will organise a ‘Abhinandan Rally’ (thanks giving meeting) at Talkatora stadium on 28 December.
‘In the garb of going back to people, AAP is actually striking a secret deal with the Congress for not opening the previous cases of corruption against their leaders,’ alleged Goel. He further added, ‘We have been witnessing a game of political drama in the recent days where AAP is indulging in all kinds of tricks and doublespeak over the formation of the government in Delhi.’
He alleged that AAP has disrespected the democratic institutions and traditions by frequently changing its stand. ‘It is unfortunate that an unholy nexus of Congress and AAP has been forged in Delhi despite the fact AAP had vehemently opposed the Congress before polls It is clear that they have ulterior motives,’ added Goel.
‘What is happening right now is clearly the case of “shadow-boxing” and BJP would continue to expose it as it has done in the past,’ said Goel asking both Congress and AAP to come out clean and let Delhi’ites know that what is ‘deal’ between them. He reiterated that his party has always maintained that AAP is actually Team B of Congress and it has been proven once again with AAP getting support of Congress keeping Delhi in hanging mode.
