AAP slams ministry of home affairs

The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday demanded that the BJP-led central government should immediately apologise to the families of 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims for having played with their emotions on the issue of enhanced compensation. The AAP said Election Commission of India has rightly reprimanded the Union Home Ministry for first having leaked wrong news about the additional compensation of Rs 5 lakh for each riot victim and not having denied it later, despite the fact that no such decision had been taken by the ministry.
