Thirteen days after government formation, the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) on Friday came up with its report card on social networking website Facebook.
The party apprised people of the nine major steps taken during the 13 day period. The party has delivered on its promise of providing 700 litres of water free of cost and slashing power bills by 50 per cent.
The party has also launched an anti-corruption helpline. In a bid to end VIP culture, the party has also decided to not allow ministers to use red beacons on their cars. The party has also come up with some innovative solutions like turning buses into night shelters to help the homeless during the cold weather. The Facebook update goes on to mention similar such achievements.
Meanwhile, getting ready to experiment with innovative ideas to deal with some very complex problems of the national capital, the AAP-led government turned buses that are no longer in service into night shelters for the homeless. People don’t have to live on roads braving the extremely chilly weather. Also the government’s decision to introduce the anti-corruption helpline has become a hit among the people.
