AAP reaches out to people with eye on Lok Sabha polls

The party in their posters has highlighted the achievements of their government, such as their call to investigate the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and other such issues.

AAP is trying to establish their distance from both the Congress and BJP. Despite the amount of work they’ve done within 30 days, both the BJP and Congress have targeted AAP incessantly.

Based on such claims, questions were raised in the posters as to why the party has been targeted.
The party also took the credit for ending VIP culture and being the government that is delivering on their promises in the quickest possible time.

In a poster, that might cause embarrassment to the Congress, AAP has promised that they will deliver justice for the 1984 riot victims. AAP has promised justice to its victims.  The party, with its ever increasing volunteer base, came up with the idea about a few days ago.

The party volunteers put up these posters at all prominent flyovers and foot over-bridges and other locations across the city. ‘We are getting a very positive response from people,’ said a senior AAP leader. The AAP has, however, already caught the attention of other political parties.

Earlier the party used auto-rickshaws for its aggressive attack on the Sheila Dikshit government before the Delhi assembly election.

The AAP, in the meantime, has asked its supporters to put up banners and hoardings on the walls of their houses. The appeal evoked a positive response from people, who offered the walls and roofs of their homes to be used for party ads.

AAP sources said that the party has identified over 50,000 spots across the city where posters and banners are being put up by volunteers and supporters. ‘These spots have been offered to us by the citizens. This also includes houses belonging to the cadre,’ said a party leader.

Some of the places where these posters were put up are Ashram, Mayur Vihar Phase-2, Kalyanpuri, Lajpat Nagar and Nehru Palace.
