AAP on Sunday said it will support the family of a man, who was burnt alive allegedly by two Delhi police constables in Neb Sarai, after he tried to intervene in a scuffle between his auto-driver son and the policemen who were extorting money from him.
The party said its candidate from Malviya Nagar constituency Somnath Bharti, who is a lawyer, will provide free legal service to the family and will also take care of their welfare. ‘AAP promises to ensure justice for his family. We will take the case to a proper conclusion even if we have to fight it out till the Supreme Court level, we will do it,’ the party said.
