Buoyed by the success of its fund-raising dinner in Mumbai, the AAP’s national convenor will now attend a luncheon function in Delhi on Sunday.
The lunch will be hosted by Kejriwal along with other senior party leaders, including Manish Sisodia, Ashutosh and Pankaj Gupta.
The party chief will host 125 traders for an Rs 20,000-per-plate lunch at a popular resto-bar in Connaught Place on Sunday.
Sources said that the party hopes to raise Rs 40 to Rs 50 lakh through this fundraising lunch. “The traders are in favour of an AAP government coming to power in Delhi and are expected to donate generously at the event. The starting price per plate will be Rs 20,000, but can go up according to the will of an individual trader,” said Brijesh Goyal, convenor of AAP’s trade wing.
