AAP launches political internship programme in Rajasthan

After the  debut success in Delhi assembly election, AAP on Friday launched a political internship programme in Rajasthan. The programme is open for the youth who are passionate about changing the political system and willing to work towards ‘Swaraj’ (decentralication of power).

The course will of the duration ranging from one month to six month, depending on the availability to the candidates from 1 January next. Candidates can apply for the course till 31 December. Moreover aspirants can join the course as part time,’ said Ritesh Khandelwal, programme incharge of Aam Aadmi Party.

Student pursuing BA/ BCom/ BSc/ BBA/ BMS/ BMM/ BCA/ LLB/ MBA/ LLM/ MCA/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ CA/ MBBS/Multimedia & graphic designing students/ video editing and animation students are invited to apply.

‘We need youth from all the respective fields. We need professionals for internet-related social media campaign, social media marketing, branding and analysis, research work. They can also participate in various research projects, like scam expose. The youth will have opportunity to learn how AAP uses marketing research to know public’s point of view by conducting surveys and referendums, banner and graphics related, campaign management and other official work, they will have the experience in managing various teams, they will get exposure in work for political – economic – demographic profiling of parliamentary and assembly constituencies, said Khandelwal.

Responding to statutory bodies via emails, letters or phone, visiting political meetings, software / IT development, basics knowledge of law, learn to file RTIs and PILs will be one of their main task, he added. Even the party will give stipend and certificate of excellence from ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ but no reimbursement in any form, he clarified.

We received around 400 applicant after announcing this course on our social site pate, said Khandelwal. He further said that the party do not have money power but it can fight with the corruption and rotten system with the educated and ambitious youth who want to change the corrupt system.
