AAP launches Mission Vistar to widen base

AAP on Sunday announced it will launch ‘Mission Vistar’ to expand the base of the party across the country. The party announced its strategy for coming days after the three-day national executive meeting concluded on Sunday.. While talking to the media, former Delhi chief minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwial said the party would go for organisational revamp in the coming days.

‘In this meeting, several important decisions including restructuring the entire party, from booth level to national level, were taken. Several new people have been added as special invitees to the national executive as of now until the restructuring process is complete,’ said Kejriwal.

Kejriwal admitted that he made some mistakes and Yogendra Yadav as a member of the party has the right to point them out. ‘Yogendra Yadav is like my elder brother, who could scold and slap me if I go off the track,’ said Kejriwal. ‘AAP wants to establish swaraj in the country. In the next one-year, we will reconstruct the party from booth to national level,’ said Kejriwal.
‘The government wants 100 per cent FDI in defence, this should not happen. Defence of our country will go into foreign hands. We welcome the SIT on black money,’ said Kejriwal. See PG3,4
