The party is getting huge support from across the country and have already decided to contest in 309 Lok Sabha seats.
Earlier during a press conference on December 26, senior AAP leader Yogendra Yadav targeted Narender Modi and told the media persons that BJP is scared that so called Modi wave is actually weak and can be punctured easily. They had been blowing Modi trumpet for months, so was it all hot air.
Meanwhile AAP leader Kumar Vishwas on Monday asked Modi to fight against Rahul Gandhi. He told ‘Narendra Modi has time and again trained his guns on the Gandhi family, bulk of his speeches are devoted to criticising the dynasty. Instead of taunting Rahul Gandhi as ‘shehzada’, why can’t he — if he has not decided his constituency — fight against Rahul? Or at least field a senior leader like Arun Jaitley or Nitin Gadkari from Rahul’s constituency.’
He further said ‘Why can’t he field Advani from Rae Bareli? Reality is that be it corruption or dynasty, BJP’s stance is mere lip service. They did not field a candidate against Dimple Yadav in Kannauj,’ said Vishwas.
AAP is planning to contest all 26 Lok Sabha seats, though a final decision has been left to the national executive in Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is setting its eye on Narendra Modi’s Gujarat among other states. AAP will hold a Jhadu Yatra across the state to highlight what they call the Modi government’s corrupt practices ahead of the 2014 elections.
