AAP is informing EC about poll code violations: Yogendra Yadav

The party workers are keeping a close eye on those involved in illegal poll practices and are reporting all such incidents to the Election Commission, the AAP claimed.

‘There were some incidents reported from Narela, Bawana, Badli and even Palika Dham areas in New Delhi constituency where money and liquor were distributed to woo voters,’ party leader Yogendra Yadav said.

‘We have informed the Election Commission about these developments,’ said Yadav.
On how voters should deal with those trying to lure them, Yadav said, ‘Our party leader Arvind Kejriwal has suggested earlier that if the corrupt politician offer you money and blanket then take it but do not vote for them.’

Yadav further said that this is the first time in Indian politics that a political party is spreading awareness among the voters on how to stop electoral malpractices. ‘To address this issue, we have distributed around 10,000 pamphlets in which we have mentioned Election Commission’s helpline number,’ Yadav said.
