AAP criticises red carpet for Chinese prez

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday criticised prime minister Narendra Modi over the Chinese incursions at line of control. The party said even as the Indian forces face hostile incursions at the border, the government is busy extending a red carpet welcome to Chinese president Xi Jinping.
‘AAP is disappointed that the PM did not use the word incursion in his press conference while referring to intrusion by the Chinese forces. The government should also tell the nation whether Chinese president gave any assurance on the issue when the prime minister raised,’ the party said.
