AAP accuses Tanwar of molestation

Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday alleged that former BJP MLA and vice chairman of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Karan Singh Tanwar outraged the modesty of woman in public view and demanded his immediate dismissal. According to a press statement of AAP, Tanwar and his three associates hurled abuses on the woman in full public view on 19 November. ‘She submitted a police complaint to Nariana police station but even after three days, no police complaint has been registered,’ said the statement. AAP also blamed Delhi police for evading registration of an FIR against Tanwar under political pressure and is trying to hush up the case.
