A diva is a modern woman, says Sagarika

Remember Chak De India girl Sagarika Ghatge? Well, she recently made a whirlwind trip to the Capital.
So what brought her to Delhi? ‘Well as I am the cover girl of Atelier Diva, I came here for the launch of the magazine,’ said the 26-year-old who looked gorgeous in a black jumpsuit.
Sagarika says she loves reading books, travel magazines and of course fashion magazines.
But why did she almost vanish after the success of Chak De India, she wasn’t in the limelight for quite long. So what was she upto, meanwhile?
‘After Chak De, I had a small role in Rush. I was very young and I had to study. It was very difficult choosing between studies and film,’ said Sagarika.
The actor has some projects in her kitty now but refuses to divulge much deetails. ‘Now I have been shooting some movies but I cannot reveal much anbout the projects yet.’
Who according to her is a diva? ‘A diva is the modern woman who is independent and yet rooted to her culture.’
What does she like about Delhi? ‘The extreme temperature,’ she says, chuckling.
‘But apart from it, the food here is great, I have lots of friends here and the wide roads here for a change feels nice. The warmth of the people and well-planned homes are what make Delhi special,’ says the actor.
And what is the actor’s fitness regime? ‘I love to work out. Also I am a sports junkie. Since I have a sweet-tooth, I have to work out for an extra 30 minutes,’ says the girl who does not believe in dieting. ‘For me, it is important to eat healthy,’ says a very confident Sagarika.
