Nine participants have won the ‘Bill Banvao, Inam Pao’ award. The participants won Rs 50,000.
The scheme was launched by the Department of Trade and Taxes, a subsidy of the Delhi government.

Talking about the scheme, Yadav said, “The Bill Banvao, Inam Pao scheme is meant to encourage people to get bills of their purchases and upload them through the DVATBILL App.”
Yadav added that in May, more than 11,000 bills were uploaded, of which 8,200 were eligible for the cash prize. After its launch, 330 participants have received a cash prize under the scheme.
“Over Rs 20 lakh was distributed as a part of the reward,” said Yadav.
He added that the ‘Bill Banvao Inam Pao’ scheme would help check tax evaders. The bills uploaded by people under the scheme have helped detect more than 200 tax evaders.
