8 arrested of a gang involved in 21 robberies

Delhi Police have arrested eight persons, who were involved in as many as 21 cases of burglaries in Delhi and NCR. All the accused are natives of the Araryam district in Bihar. On March 11, many complaints related to burglaries in Pratap Complex in Munirka were received.
During a spot visit by police officials, several shops and offices were found to have been broken open, with mobile phones, laptops and other valuable articles stolen. “Evidences collected from the spot, including finger prints, CCTV footage and details obtained from CRO were analysed minutely but identification of criminals without any previous records became a humongous task,” a senior police official said.
