67-yr-old Landlord held for sexually assaulting 4-yr-old

A 67-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl in South Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar area on Saturday. 

The incident took place when the girl’s parents went for work and the landlord managed to get a friendly entry. At the time of the incident, the victim’s two elder brothers ageing six and nine were present in the house but the elderly landlord assigned them some work. 

When the duo stepped out of the house, the accused sexually assaulted the girl and in the meantime her brothers returned home. 

Before leaving the accused threatened the girl. After her parents returned from work he narrated the ordeal and they reported the matter to the police. 

The accused was later arrested and booked under IPC and POCSO Act.
