62-yr-old crushed to death by speeding SUV

A 62-year-old man died while three others were critically injured in a road accident at Sector-66, <g data-gr-id="22">Mamura</g> when a speeding Xylo car hit his office van on Monday. Police said the deceased, identified as Chetan Desai, was working as a clerk with a national newspaper in Noida’s Sector 11. According to police, the incident took place at 2 am on Monday when he, along with Roshan, Suresh, and Vivek was going home by office cab after finishing his duty. When the driver was crossing <g data-gr-id="26">Sector-66</g> intersection, a speeding Xylo car, coming from the other direction hit it badly. All were rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared Chetan, a resident of Sarai Rohilla in New Delhi, brought dead. The three others are in ICU where they are still recuperating. Police have registered an FIR at Phase-III police station and have arrested the errant driver, Anil Yadav, in this connection.
