62-year-old held for raping minor

A 62-year-old man was arrested here on Wednesday for attempting to rape a five-year-old child, police said. Aas Mohammad entered the house of the victim in Hariya Heri village on Wednesday afternoon and tried to sexually assault her. she raised an alarm.
‘The accused had came to the village to collect donations for a madrassa board at Nuh. The victim was all alone at her house when he knocked on the door for donation,’ Varun Kumar, chief of Bhondsi police station, said.
