A six-month-old boy who was kidnapped on Monday has been recovered by Delhi police and three persons including two women have been arrested in this regard. The baby boy was sold to a mother-daughter duo for Rs 60,000 as they were looking for a male child.

On Monday, a complaint was registered at Mandawali police station regarding the kidnapping of a child from the terrace of a house in Sewa Sadan Block in Mandawali area.
According to the police, the case was blind as the parents of the child didn’t have any clue or suspicion on anybody.

During spot investigation, it was found that the building, in which the victim was living, had 45 rooms and in each room, about 5 to six persons were living. The main door was the only source of entry and exit.

The accused, Rahul, revealed that as per their plan, co-accused Bunti introduced him to two women posing as buyers, identified as Preeti and her mother Rajni. The latter wanted a male heir for her family.

The child was recovered on Tuesday from their house. ‘We have arrested Rahul, Rajni and Preeti whereas Bunti is at large,’ a police official said.
