55 militants killed in air strikes in pak

At least 55 militants were killed on Thursday in aerial strikes carried out by <g data-gr-id="20">Pakistani</g> military in two different provinces of the country’s restive northwest tribal region bordering <g data-gr-id="12">Afghanisthan</g>. 12 militants were killed when security forces clashed with them in Pary <g data-gr-id="13">Gharin</g> area of South Waziristan Agency, security sources said. In a separate incident, at least 43 militants were killed in aerial strikes conducted in <g data-gr-id="18">North</g> <g data-gr-id="14">waziristan</g>.
28 militants were killed in Shawal area and 15 in Gharlamai after the jets bombed them. On Thursday’s strikes came two days after the military claimed it had killed 65 militants in North Waziristan and Khyber Agency.
