A 50-year old head constable of West district’s Paschim Vihar police station was charred to death when his clothes caught fire on Tuesday night. The deceased, Hari Kishan, was taken to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment, police said.
According to the police, Hari Kishan, who was posted at the Paschim Vihar police station, had ignited a fire in the malkhana of the police station when all of a sudden his clothes caught fire.
