5 UP top cops to get President's medal

Five senior police officials of Uttar Pradesh have been selected for the prestigious President's Police Medal for distinguished service on the Republic Day.
Altogether 73 police personal from the state have been selected for police medal for meritorious service on the occasion while 125 policemen have been selected by the state police for the Republic day celebrations.
The five policemen selected for the President's police medal for distinguished service are Inspector General of Police, PAC Lucknow Virendra Kumar, Inspector General of police (Agra Zone) Bhawesh Kumar Singh, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Railway- Allahabad) Lalji Shukla, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lucknow Digvijay Singh and Inspector Intelligence HQ Mohamad Izhar Siddiqui.
73 senior police officials to be given the police medal of the state including DGP (Cooperative Cell) Surat Tripathi, DIG (Agra Range) Bhanu Bhaskar, DIG Lucknow Navneet Sekera, Superintendent of Police (Moradabad) VIjay Singh Meena DIG Allahabad Namla Ravinder, Commandant PAC Lucknow Naveen Arora and Drug Law Enforcement Expert UNDOC.
