4000 tihar inmates celebrate Eid

Presenting an example of communal harmony, over 4,000 inmates of Tihar jail, belonging to different faiths, on Tuesday celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with enthusiasm by offering prayers and having special dishes. The inmates with the help of jail authorities made special dishes such as ‘sewayian’ and other snacks. PR Officer Sunil Gupta said more than 150 Hindu inmates including 60 women prisoners had observed Roza along with the Muslim inmates.
