I usually set up a chaarpai in the courtyard and leave my two children, one four-year-old and the other three-year-old, with their toys to play. I returned after 15 minutes only to find that my eldest one missing. Usually, my kids go out to play with other children. So I went around and asked the other kids. They told me they were playing in the swing and then returned home. Being the last one left swinging, my daughter was approached by that man who took her away.”

My mother too joined me. It was around 5:30 pm when after checking every room in the locality; I felt maybe my daughter is inside Junaid’s room. Earlier, I had missed it but I felt something was wrong. We both barged into his room and saw Junaid lying on top of my child. I called up others and we thrashed him and handed him over to the police.”
